Golf in Liberty Lake
Liberty Lake Golf Course
The original course in town, rebuilt hole by hole in 2010 with big greens and white-sand bunkers.
Liberty Lake Golf Course dates to 1959, decades before there was a City of Liberty Lake. A $6 million renovation changed it completely: architect Rick Phelps redesigned all 18 holes, and the course reopened in June 2010 with new greens, tees, bunkers, lakes and irrigation.
It plays as a par 70 of 6,607 yards from the back tees. Shorter than MeadowWood, but the large greens, white-sand bunkers and water keep it honest.
A grass-tee driving range with targets, separate chipping and putting areas, and a remodeled clubhouse serving food and drinks round it out.
Hours, rates, tee times and restaurant service change through the season. Check with the course before you go.
