Golf in Liberty Lake

MeadowWood Golf Course

An open, links-style 18 with water in play and room to let the driver go.

MeadowWood opened in 1988 on land the Schultz family donated to Spokane County. Robert Muir Graves laid it out in a links style: mostly open, with trees, bunkers and water placed to make you think on the tee rather than hide the green.

At par 72 and close to 6,900 yards from the back, it's the longest of Liberty Lake's three courses, and the forward tees bring it down to about 5,700. Golf Digest named it one of the 10 best public courses in Washington in 1996.

There's a full-service restaurant and a pro shop, and the clubhouse hosts banquets and group events.

Hours, rates, tee times and restaurant service change through the season. Check with the course before you go.
